A private club in southern Spain
La Reserva de Sotogrande is a private residential community in southern Spain, where members have access to leisure, sport, and lifestyle activities set among the area's beaches and landscape. The community extends beyond the physical setting: members and visitors need practical information about the real-estate offering, services, and events, as well as a way to connect with the people around them.
A space that couldn't be public
La Reserva wanted a private digital space that represented the club. Public social networks brought noise and limited control, and could not provide the right combination of branding, privacy, registration, and selected features. The organisation also wanted a more direct way to reach members than a mixture of email, websites, and social media. Disciple offered a mobile platform that La Reserva could shape around its own identity and access requirements.
Branded, private, and theirs
The La Reserva app uses the club's branding and colour palette. Registration and privacy settings control access, while the selected feature set keeps the experience focused on the information and interactions that belong to the community. Members and visitors can find information about property, services, and events, then connect directly with other people in the club. One app customer describes it simply: "Fantastic app. An excellent way to explore and get to know La Reserva de Sotogrande."
A direct line to members
La Reserva now has a dedicated mobile meeting place rather than a reliance on public social media, with its own design, privacy settings, registration, and feature choices. It also gives the organisation a direct communication channel: "The La Reserva app is where our community members and visitors can find all the information about our real estate offering, services and events, and also connect with each other," the club says. "It's a great way to engage with our customers directly as opposed to traditional media such as emails, website or social media."
